Exemplar 2: BeSMART Gun Lock Campaign with Southeast Public Health Nursing
This collaboration highlights work with the BeSMART gun safety program to distrubute gun locks to Southeast Public Health Centers as part of a pilot program. Materials were developed to communicate the goals of the pilot project and the outreach process.
Exemplar 3: Reviewing framework for Opioid Settlement Funds in Juneau, Alaska
This presentation was presented to the City and Borough of Juneau and provides examples of opioid remediation efforts. This presentation highlights the guiding principles from John Hopkins University and outlines ways that interdisciplinary teams can partner to address health disparities around opioids and substance misuse.
